Apartment Therapy has updated a buyer’s guide to Article, the Vancouver-based direct-to-consumer furniture brand. The report describes its style and price range and outlines store locations, assembly and delivery options; prices and service availability can vary, so shoppers should check current terms before buying.
Apartment Therapy has updated its guide to Article furniture, laying out what shoppers can expect from the Vancouver-based direct-to-consumer brand, including listed sofa prices, limited in-person store access, and paid delivery and assembly options. The update is a consumer buying guide rather than a company announcement, and the fees and availability described should be checked against Article’s current terms before an order is placed.
The report describes Article as a Canadian online furniture and decor retailer that has operated for more than a decade. Its product styling includes Scandinavian- and mid-century-inspired pieces, alongside options the guide characterizes as suited to bohemian and coastal interiors. Apartment Therapy says the brand’s online-first model helps keep its prices more reasonable than those of luxury competitors; that is the publication’s assessment, not a comparison based on disclosed price research.
Apartment Therapy gives a full-price range of $699 to $4,799 for sofas, while noting that prices vary by item. It also identifies stores in Vancouver and Toronto, Canada, and San Francisco’s Design District. The report does not provide an address list or confirm whether the locations’ hours, product displays or expansion plans have changed since its update.
According to the guide, most products come with an estimated assembly time and many can be assembled in under an hour. Article also offers delivery tiers, subject to service-area limits: the report lists $59 for standard delivery and $19 shipping for small items or orders under $200, with courier delivery. It lists in-room delivery at $119 and White Glove delivery with assembly at $199. These are the fees reported by Apartment Therapy, not a guarantee of current pricing for every order.
Delivery Fees Shape the Final Cost
For furniture buyers, the listed price is only part of the decision. Delivery and assembly can add to the order total, particularly for larger pieces that may need to be carried inside or built. The guide’s separate service tiers give shoppers a way to compare the cost of handling those tasks themselves with paying for in-room placement or assembly.
The in-person footprint also matters because furniture dimensions, comfort and finish can be hard to judge online. Apartment Therapy’s report says Article has only a small number of stores, so many customers may rely on online photographs and product details. Shoppers should confirm whether a local showroom has the specific item they want to test, rather than assuming a store carries every product.
The article’s positive value assessment reflects its writers’ and editors’ experience with Article pieces. It is useful as firsthand editorial perspective, but it does not establish that every product will suit every home, budget or durability expectation. Product-level reviews, materials and return terms remain relevant to a purchase.

A Vancouver-Based Online Furniture Brand
Article’s model is direct-to-consumer: the brand sells primarily online rather than relying on a broad network of furniture shops. Apartment Therapy says the company began in Vancouver and has been operating for more than a decade. The source describes its designs as spanning several popular home styles, rather than focusing on a single look.
The guide draws on Apartment Therapy staff experience, including a writer’s account of testing sofas, dining chairs, bed frames and coffee tables at Article’s flagship location. The writer also says she bought a dining table, chairs, a headboard and a storage bed frame, and used the company’s in-room and assembly services after moving. Those details are attributed personal experience, not independent testing of every item or delivery in every market.
Apartment Therapy also points to sales around major holidays, including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Memorial Day and Labor Day. The source does not specify discount amounts or say that every product is included. Promotion dates and terms can change from year to year.

Current Prices and Service Terms
The source lists delivery fees and store locations but does not give a clear publication date, service-area map, or current product-by-product availability. It is not clear whether the quoted prices and fees remain current in every location or for every order. Taxes, delivery constraints, promotions and item-specific terms are not detailed in the report.
The guide characterizes Article furniture as high quality and relatively affordable compared with luxury competitors, but it does not provide a systematic comparison of prices, construction or long-term durability. Readers should treat that assessment as Apartment Therapy’s editorial view. The source also mentions that more stores are planned without identifying locations or dates; those plans are not confirmed in the supplied material.
Check Details Before Ordering
Before buying, shoppers can verify the item’s current price, materials, dimensions, delivery availability and return terms on Article’s site. They should confirm whether the product can be viewed at a nearby showroom and which service options apply to their address. Measure the room and the delivery route, including doorways and stairwells, and compare the package dimensions with the available access space.
Anyone considering a holiday sale should check the promotion’s dates, eligible items and final checkout price rather than assume that a particular product will be discounted. The source does not identify a forthcoming Article announcement or scheduled milestone, so any changes to store locations, fees or offers remain subject to confirmation from the company.
